Wedding Season is Over
August 21st, 2007
Between August 10th and 18th, I attended 3 weddings and 2 rehearsal dinners. I traveled from Boston to Southern California, back to Boston, to Rhode Island, and to Connecticut. I stayed in 3 different hotels, ate ridiculous amounts of really rich food, drank more wine than I ever have in my life, and danced and danced and danced.  I’m exhausted, borderline sick (all that recycled hotel and airplane air), and about 5 pounds heavier than I started out.
But I’m happy. I’m happy that some of my closest friends are married to people that complement them so well. I’m happy that - after months of planning and number crunching - my friends can finally relax. And I’m happy that I don’t need to buy any more dresses until the next wedding (in December).
