Procastinating and Rambling, My Two Favorite Things
It’s 11:15 PM, and I have to wake up at 4 AM. Why do I do this to myself?
This summer, I developed a bad habit of refusing to pack for trips until midnight the night before, then sleeping for four hours (max) before waking up to travel. It’s not a good thing, but I can’t seem to get my @ss in gear. Right now, there are dresses strewn across my bed, shoes all over my bedroom floor, and an open suitcase is ready to be filled with the clothes I’ll need this weekend.
I leave tomorrow morning for 4 days in California. It’s not really a vacation – my high school best friend is getting married on Saturday. Married! I’m excited (for her), nervous (about the reading I’m doing), and a little stressed (about trying to see my entire family in 4 days).
Sigh.
I guess I’ll go pack now.
