Giving Thanks

As I write this, I am watching my beloved Trojans prepare to kick some Irish @ss, and it’s reminding me - belatedly - that I meant to talk about the three things I am most thankful for this year. That’s what Thanksgiving is for, right?
So here we go…
- I’m thankful that the Trojans have been doing well. It’s distracting me from the disaster that the Green Bay season has been. I’m not giving up on my Packers, obviously (I know they can still pull themselves together!), but having a great college team helps ease the sting. Thank you, Trojan men!
- I’m thankful for the Democratic victory in the midterm elections. Now, I’m just praying that we actually get some sh*t done.
- I’m thankful that Britney finally, finally, dumped that loser husband of hers. I can feel that her hotness will rise again!
Is it sad that I can’t decide if I’m more thankful for the Democratic wins or the Britney dumping? Does that make me shallow?
Ah, I don’t care. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go watch the Trojans!
