I’m Horrified…

h1 Wednesday, February 8th, 2006

It’s official. I’ve never been more embarassed to have graduated from PC. Way to act like a bunch of unfeeling, idiotic @ssholes. Good luck getting me to donate money to you.

In other news, Kelly Clarkson just won the Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy. And I love her. But I wish she was still a brunette.

I Was Not Live in New York, Last Saturday Night

I was, in fact, dead. Why, you ask? I blame it on Ali & Celeste for having a “Foam Party,” AlexisT for leading the tsunami forces of alcohol, my PC boys for making me think I was still in college, AekiTuesday for being a bad influence, and the PostShow boys for encouraging my ridiculousness.

I’m not sure how it happened - I didn’t even start drinking until 9:07, when the first fabulous guest arrived. See, I’m a responsible drinker! I know I have a low tolerance, so I held off on drinking until another person got there! And I swear I didn’t have that many drinks - I only remember making, like, six! Of course, the key word in there is “remember.”

For only the second time in my entire drinking career, I blacked out. I’m not sure what to make of that, but it’s certainly not my fault! Of course, I’m not really sure who to blame it on…. But I somehow ended the night like this:

Actually, that’s not accurate. I ended the night praying to the porcelain gods on Ali’s bathroom floor. Twice. And then twice more in the morning, before having to book it to Port Authority to get back to Boston before the Super Bowl. Which I was unable to drink during, thanks to the fun fact that the smell of alcohol kept threatening to send me back to the bathroom to boot some more.

New York. How you kill all my brain cells.

So, I’m not a huge Chuck Klosterman fan. Sure, he can be funny and insightful. But he can also be pompous and self-righteous. Whatever - to each his own, right? And sometimes he does make me laugh. Like on the Superbowl blog he’s keeping at ESPN.com - it’s hilarious. Even if you don’t like football.

In other news, I just saw my first episode of Lost. I have no idea what’s going on, but it’s totally addictive. I’ll have to make plans for next Wednesday if I want to keep myself from getting sucked in.

Okay, I have to go figure out how on earth I can make time to see all the Oscar nominated films/actors/directors before March 5. Is that the actual day of the awards? I’m too lazy to check….
