Multi-Tasking

So, I’m not a huge Chuck Klosterman fan. Sure, he can be funny and insightful. But he can also be pompous and self-righteous. Whatever - to each his own, right? And sometimes he does make me laugh. Like on the Superbowl blog he’s keeping at ESPN.com - it’s hilarious. Even if you don’t like football.
In other news, I just saw my first episode of Lost. I have no idea what’s going on, but it’s totally addictive. I’ll have to make plans for next Wednesday if I want to keep myself from getting sucked in.
Okay, I have to go figure out how on earth I can make time to see all the Oscar nominated films/actors/directors before March 5. Is that the actual day of the awards? I’m too lazy to check….

How can you be reading Douchebag Frey’s book? I hope you got it from the library rather than paying for it…
As for Lost…you WILL get sucked in. Resistance is futile.
The idea of Frey’s book is still good. Let me know how you like it.
I borrowed Frey from a friend last November, and it’s been sitting atop my “to read” pile since then - I had to get through “Guns” first. Anyways, I refused to back down - I had wanted to read it for a long time, and I’m not letting all this “lying” get in my way.
So far, even knowing it’s not entirely true, I like it. I like his style…. But I’m saving final judgement until I’m done with it.
Be sure to read the entire Smoking Gun story about Frey. I’m siding with Helen here: He’s a douchebag.
As for Lost: Go rent the first season. There’s so much character development and weird twists that you’re doing yourself a disservice by starting in the middle of the second season. Lost is easily the second best show on television. (Number one, of course, is 24.)
Read the book and enjoy it. I want to hump Klosterman so bad. Some say he’s my dream man.
Oh and someone needs to write about The Post Show cameraman. Do you want to pick heads or tails?
