Rain, Rain, Go Away…

Ah, spring is in the air. Which in Boston means gray skies, rainy days, and everyone I know saying, “I can’t wait for summer to get here.” I spent the bulk of this weekend inside, glued to my TV, occasionally glancing outside and praying for the rain to stop.I miss California. Even with their record setting rain this year.
Anyways, while holed up in my apartment, I briefly thought about posting on Saturday - I saw Sin City on Friday night and thought it was awesome - but then decided I didn’t want to get sucked into doing “blog things” on the weekend. I don’t want to spoil you all. 
But I still want to say…
Sin City rocked. Visually, it was one of the most stunning movies I’ve ever seen - I’m still amazed at how well Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez translated a “graphic novel” into the big screen. The movie felt like a comic book - the scenes looked inked, almost, and the characters spoke in speech bubbles. So freakin’ cool. I highly recommend it.
sin city was awesome. mickey roarke was great. I loved the story of marv. and when the nazi got the arrow in the stomach “hey!” that was hilarous.
That arrow scene was the funniest thing EVER! “Should we get a doctor to look at this?” hahahahahahahahaha!
I really likee Rory Gilmore (forget her real name) in this movie too - big change from the Rory character.
Also, did Elijah Wood’s character make anyone else think of an evil, EVIL, harry potter?
yeah my friend karen said the same thing. evil harry potter with the charlie brown shirt. he was absolutely frightening!

i thought sin city was ok. i loved rourke’s part. i thought some of the other actors (dawson, bledel, murphy, owen and alba) didn’t deliver.
as for evil harry potter, i yelled that out. i forgot his characters name and kept telling my sister how much i liked evil harry potter!
