I had to break up with my girly crush… and I’m feeling so unfulfilled now.

Britney’s been my girl ever since “oops, i did it again” hit the airwaves. She was cool and sexy and innocent all at the same time, a rare combination that gets me every time. This isn’t sexual, so don’t get too excited. It’s just that she was so cool. I didn’t want to do her, I just wanted to be like her, you know? And who wouldn’t want to be like this:

Hot, right? But now….sigh. Ever since she married Federline, I haven’t been able to look at her the same way – is she really so desperate for attention that she’ll marry a guy she’s only known for a few months? I don’t approve. So I had to move on.But where do I turn now? I can’t seem to find anyone to transfer my attention to – no one has quite the same qualities that I want!

For a little bit, I was thinking Kiera Knightly – so hot in “Pirates of the Caribbean”! But now she cut all her hair off, and while she’s still beautiful, I think I need my ladies to have long hair.

Friends have suggested Angelina Jolie – “all girls like her, right?” Well, she’s definitely gorgeous… but I can’t really get over my fear of her either. And I don’t care how much she’s changed, I’ll never be able to crush on someone who once wore a vial of blood around their neck. Creepy.

JLo is hot- but I can’t stand her. She’s way too big of a diva, not to mention the fact that I think she’s talentless – sorry Lex!

Jessica Simpson is beautiful – but I prefer normal human intelligence a plus, and she’s sadly lacking in that department.

I was thinking of turning to Ashley Judd for solace – she’s really cool and down to earth, and I love that she’s so politically active. But she doesn’t really have an edge, does she?Argh.Where have all the cool girls gone?
